Founder & Lead Developer
Brandon Shoemaker founded Shoemaker Consolidated LLC for clients who need a dependable integrator—not slide decks alone. The company is Texas-formed and veteran-owned, built on nine years in the U.S. Navy as an avionics technician and nine years in industrial automation—including ABB QCS and Honeywell DCS work in pulp and paper, plus the HMI, server, and infrastructure layers that keep lines running.
Today the work centers on systems integration and industrial intelligence: connecting control-domain expertise with AI-assisted workflows where they earn their place—faster, auditable engineering with humans in the loop.
We operate as a Technical Prime: own the technical scope, coordinate subcontractors when needed, and translate between the plant floor and compliance-oriented delivery.
What we are not: We do not promise “inventing the future” in the abstract. We deliver grounded integration, clear documentation, and outcomes you can brief to a program office or a plant manager.
Other industrial experience: He has also worked in laser automation (Amada) and other industrial settings. While not a primary focus, he gained significant hands-on experience with cutting systems, CNC, and calibration—experience that broadens his perspective on manufacturing and process control.
If your requirement sits at the intersection of legacy industrial systems, modern software, and AI-assisted delivery, we should talk.
Deliver integration and industrial intelligence with Navy-grade discipline—documentation, testable handoffs, and outcomes buyers can rely on.
Bridge plant-floor reality, modern software, and practical AI tooling for partners who need integration done right—not theory.
Military discipline meets industrial depth; AI where it speeds delivery without sacrificing traceability or judgment.
Nine years U.S. Navy (avionics/systems), nine years industrial automation, and a deliberate pivot to AI-augmented systems integration and custom software.
Gained significant exposure to laser automation (Amada), CNC, and related manufacturing—complementary to his core focus on papermill and process control systems.
Engagements are scoped for clarity—fixed discovery, time-and-materials integration support, or defined deliverables for federal and industrial clients.
Scoped for federal, industrial, and prime partners who need one accountable integrator from controls to software.
Plants and programs accumulate invisible process leaks—workarounds and manual steps that became “just how we do it.” The initial call is not a pitch: it’s time to understand what you’re living with and whether anything is worth a deeper look. Outcomes might be clearer visibility, tighter integration, automation, or focused analysis—whatever actually fits the problem.
Thanks for making the time. Nine years troubleshooting control systems in pulp and paper taught me how much time gets eaten by things teams accept as normal. I’m not here to sell anything today—I want to understand where things stand and see if there’s anything worth exploring together.
What are the things around here that you and the team have normalized because nobody has ever really fixed them—the workarounds, manual steps, daily frustrations everyone just lives with?
Then listen. Let the details surface; take notes.
That often maps to a classic process leak that went invisible. I’ve seen similar situations addressed with better visibility, integration, automation, or disciplined analysis. If it helps, we can book a short follow-up to map options and what a solution could look like—no pressure, no cost for that conversation.
If it’s not a fit, a referral is always appreciated.
Integration and modernization support for environments where downtime and ambiguity are costly: control systems interfaces, data paths, HMI clarity, documentation, and testable handoffs. Navy-grade discipline applied to industrial and mission systems.
Assessment, roadmaps, and positioning for industrial intelligence and federal contracting readiness—linking operational reality (what runs today) to what procurement and technical volumes need to say tomorrow.
AI-assisted development workflows and custom tooling where appropriate—Cursor- and Claude-powered pipelines for repeatable engineering tasks, internal automation, and client-facing software products (e.g., veteran-focused workflow tools), always with human review and traceability.
Rates vary by scope. Calendly for initial consult; formal quotes for defined work.
Discuss where friction hides in your operation—listening first, not pitching. Integration, readiness, and delivery options follow if there’s a fit.
Open CalendlyOngoing R&D (LoRA, GGUF, novel tooling) supports industrial and federal-facing solutions where it adds clear value.
Navy and industrial automation experience converging with AI-augmented delivery—real projects, not placeholders.
Open-source knowledge engine for scientific unknowns and cross-domain discovery. Git-native catalog of 1,400+ structured unknowns, 1,100+ cross-domain bridges, and 3,800+ knowledge-graph nodes—with schema-validated YAML, CI, and an interactive dashboard.
Highlight: Live knowledge graph explorer — explore bridges, unknowns, and hypotheses across disciplines.
Outcome / impact: Demonstrates Shoemaker Consolidated’s AI-augmented R&D, data modeling, and reproducible engineering at scale—relevant to industrial intelligence and federal innovation narratives.
Veteran transition support through structured self-employment workflows. Software focused on VR&E self-employment: expense tracking, tax-relevant workflow organization, and progress clarity—so participants run a cleaner self-employment track without losing paperwork or momentum.
Technologies / approach: Web application architecture; secure, user-centered flows; AI-assisted development for rapid iteration; clarity and audit-friendly habits (tooling and structure—not tax advice).
Outcome / impact: Demonstrates Shoemaker Consolidated as a veteran-built product shop with delivery discipline from requirements to release.
Strategic positioning for industrial intelligence & federal readiness. A 2026 execution blueprint aligning industrial automation depth, mission-critical integration, and AI-augmented delivery with federal contracting readiness—including SAM.gov registration, small-business positioning, and a credible technical narrative for agencies and primes.
Technologies / approach: Strategic document; systems thinking from Navy and plant-floor experience; Technical Prime and subcontractor role mapping; compliance-aware technical storytelling.
Outcome / impact: One authoritative narrative for business development, partner conversations, and proposal scaffolding.
Engineering velocity without sacrificing accountability. Internal stack pairing Cursor, Claude, and structured workflows to accelerate specification, implementation, and test planning for custom cognitive and automation solutions—humans in the loop for safety, security, and client-facing quality.
Technologies / approach: AI-assisted IDE workflows; prompt and review patterns; automation for repetitive engineering; version control and documentation practices suitable for deliverables.
Outcome / impact: Faster cycles on custom software and integration tasks with repeatable quality—directly relevant to clients who want AI augmentation without black-box behavior.
